App of the Day- World of Tunes
World of Tunes $2.99 –> FREE for 1 day only! (App Store) is that rare game that combines colorful, original characters in a fantasy tune world with superb music action gameplay. Players are treated to an amazing game with top notch graphics that could rival those from big publishers. Join your cute music characters that looks like water droplets, and can start tapping those jumping notes when they are powered up. Failure to tap them at the right time will get those musical little guys killed and cause you to lose energy. If you lose too much energy, its game over. There are other actions such as sliding some music characters along a line to avoiding them from falling to their deaths.
World of Tunes has a story mode that opens with a spectacular opening. Other modes such as free play, DJ mode, and crazy mode with keep you jumping and tapping for days.
Why is it Great? The graphics, gameplay, and the various game modes all make World of Tunes one of the top games in the App Store.
Other Apps- Link Lines
LinkLines $0.99->FREE (App Store) is a remake of the classic Lines arcade puzzle game, and a direct conversion of one of my most popular games for Mac and PC. The object of the game is to link five balls of the same color to form a line in any direction. Create lines to stop the board from filling up!
Why is it Great? Great puzzle action and nice graphics make this puzzle game a great game to try.
Terraphone – Avian Edition
Terraphone – Avian Edition $2.99->FREE (App Store) is a bird sighting and information app that allows you to identify, explore the various bird species around a geological location. See what birds are sighted near your vicinity. There are a lot of information in this app. Its a blast to get to know your avian neighbors hiding in trees and buildings.
Why is it Great? Location based avian encyclopedia app is awesome!
