Boxed In is a popular puzzle game for your iPhone and iPod.  We have included a complete walkthrough of levels 41-50 for those of you stuck in these levels.  Please be aware that the game is best played without reading the hints and cheats included in this walkthrough.  Beating a level yourself would make you enjoy the game more.  If you have to use this walkthrough, it is advised that you look at the screenshots first for hints.  They should provide sufficient info for you to complete the level.  Enjoy the game!

Boxed in Level 41 cheats and tips

This is not a difficult level.  Start pushing up at the blue grid.  Then push a box toward the right.  Next, cover the red grid to eliminate the red forcefield.  Push a box to where the red forcefield was and go for the green grid.  Finally, move the box sitting on the red grid and push it upward to cover the blue grid.  That’s the end for this level!

Boxed in Level 42 cheats and tips

Start from the bottom box and push upwards. Then cover the colored grids in this order: yellow, blue, and red.

Boxed in Level 43 cheats and tips

This is a difficult level for the most of us.  First, go around to the lower right and push the bottom box toward the left to have it out of the way.  From the bottom, push the box upward all the way until it touches a box.  Then push a box to the right, then up toward the top right corner, but don’t go all the way up.  Push another box the the right and push it so that it covers the red grid.  Then push another box to cover the yellow grid.  Now, push a box to cover the blue grid.  Finally, go to the box you’ve placed near the top right corner and push it back down to cover the green grid.  Now we can head to the next level!

Boxed in Level 44 cheats and tips

The boxes in this level appeared to be boxed in.  There are 4 colored grid for you to cover.  Use two boxes that block the entrance to the inner chamber to cover 2 of the grids.  Get 2 boxes in the inner chamber to cover the rest of the colored grids.  Start pushing from the upper part of the chamber, so all the boxes line up as in the first screenshot below.  Then, start to push two boxes in the chamber out upwards and position them on the green grid and 2 grids left of it.  Finally start pushing the bottom boxes to the blue grid and get one box inside the chamber to cover the yellow grid.  Finally, cover the red grid and you are ready to advance to the next level.

Boxed In Level 45 cheats and tips

This level may appear simple, but it is actually rather difficult. One mistake and you are stuck! The first thing you should do is cover the green grid with the box to the right. Then move the lower left box all the way to the right.  Now move the middle left box to the right just before it hits the wall. Then move the box on the green grid up 2 grids. Go back to that middle left box you were working on and push it to cover the yellow grid.  Before you can completely cover the yellow grid, you’ll need to push the  box that was originally at the top left downward to avoid blocking the way.  Now push the box near the green grid back on top of the green grid.  Go to the bottom and push the box clockwise to have it cover the blue grid.  Finally, remove the box on the yellow grid from its position by pushing downward, and then push it to cover the red grid.  Now, you are free to head for the exit.

Boxed In Level 46 cheats and tips

This level is tricky in that you need to first go from the top toward the left and push a few boxes, otherwise you can get stucked later if you did not take this path.  Push 2 boxes into position as shown in the first screenshot.  Then go back the way you came and push a box to cover the yellow grid.  Now push the box left from where the yellow forcefield was and then cover the blue grid.  Get the gear, and cover the red grid and you are on your way to the next level.

Boxed in Level 47 cheats and tips

After pushing the top right boxes all the way in, enter the corridor from the upper left and push boxes to positions shown on the first screenshot below.  Cover the blue grid with the box shown in the screenshot and continue to use 2 other boxes to cover red and yellow grids.  That’s all there is to this level.

Boxed in Level 48 cheats and tips

This level is extremely tricky. First push a box upward to cover the blue grid. Then push a box left and then right to the position as shown in the first screenshot. Next head toward left and push the box upward 3 grids, just before hitting the wall. The next step is pivotal to completing this level. Go to the box sitting on the blue grid and push it downward until it hits the red forcefield. Then move back up and turn left at the blue grid to push a box to cover the red grid. Next push the box next to robot at the second screenshot to the blue grid. Next, go the the uppper left corner and push the box there to cover the green grid. Finally, cover the yellow grid with a box and exit this level.

Boxed in Level 49 cheats and tips

This level may not seem all that difficult if you know that you need to position boxes into clusters as shown in the screenshot below.  First push the two boxes to the left all the way down.  Then enter from the top right and cover the red grid.  Push the box under you 2 grids down, pass the blue grid.  Next push the box to your left out and push it to the lower left corner along with the other two boxes.  Cover the yellow grid with the box near the top right.  Finally align the boxes exactly as shown in the screenshot below to complete this level.

Boxed in Level 50 cheats and tips

This is the last level! So expect thing to get a lot harder.  The first difficult part is to figure out which boxes to push first and where it needs to be placed.  Just position the boxes according to the screenshot below and save yourself the agony of getting stucked over and over.  Then fill the yellow grid with the box to the top right to disarm the yellow forcefield.  Next, cover the red grid with the box at the bottom to dismantle the corresponding red forcefield.  Get the gear at the upper left corner and push the box there all the way down.  Here comes the second tricky part where most people get stuck and had to start over.  Just position the boxes according to the second screenshot below and you will be on your way to claim victory.  To do this push the box on the yellow grid 2 grids to the left first, then push the box on the far left to the right as positioned on the screenshot.  Finally push the box on the top 2 more grids to the left.  This is it!  Cover the grids in this order with 3 boxes:  green, blue and yellow.  You can now clear this final level and claim victory in Boxed In.

For now you have reached the end for Boxed In. But due to its success as a free app, I suspect more levels will be added in future updates.  If you want more puzzle solving games like Boxed In now, you may want to try the popular puzzle game Geared in the App Store for more mind stumbling action!

Boxed In Level 31 cheats and hints

There is a cluster of boxes toward the bottom of the screen.  Enter the cluster from the right and push one box down and one box to the left as shown in the screenshot below.  Then just cover the green grid, yellow grid, and blue grid respectively to complete the level.

Boxed in Level 32 cheats and hints

Smart manipulative positioning at the bottom of the screen is needed to complete this level.  Your first target grid is the blue grid.  Align the bottom boxes so that you can push the box 1 grid below the yellow grid toward the blue grid.  Then push one of the center boxes downward and left 1grid toward the yellow grid.  More manipulation of the bottom boxes need to be done. Push the bottom boxes all the way to the right as shown in the screenshot below.  Finally, you can cover the yellow grid and complete the level.

Boxed in Level 33 cheats and hints

Level 33 is a little complicated.  First align the bottom boxes like the first screenshot on the bottom.  Then push downward, and move boxes to positions shown on the second screenshot.  Fill the green grid.  Then entering from the left push the box near the blue grid toward the right, then up, then left, then down to ultimately fill that blue grid in a roundabout way.

This is another complicated level.  From the start, Go left.  Push the top box 2 grids up.  Then try to get the gear at the top left by pushing two boxes up. Then push the box directly under that gear left.  Then push two boxes up into position as shown on the first screenshot below.  Push the box into the yellow grid and  get the gear to the top right by pushing the box all the way in.  Finally, cover the green grid and head for the exit!

Boxed in Level 35 cheats and hints

In this mission, it is critical to start on the right track.  Collect the gears, and get into position as shown on the first screenshot below.  Push downward and cover the green grid by pushing from the left.  The rest is easy, just cover the colored grids in this order, red, blue and yellow, with 3 different boxes.  Check the second screenshot if you still can’t complete this level.

Boxed in Level 36 cheats and hints

This is an easy level, there just seems to be so many boxes to push!  From the start.  push upward.  Then push a box to the left.  Get the gear and head downward and push a box down 3 grids.  Move right, then down, and push a box all the way in toward the right. Go down, and push  the bottom box all the way to the left.  Finally fill the green and red grids, and you are on your way to the exit.

Boxed In cheats and hints Level 37

Push the top box to the right two grid, then push it from the right all the way to the top left corner as shown in the first screenshot.  Then push a box 1 grid into the center left side of the screen.  You can now cover the yellow grid with one of the boxes.  Finally, without too much trouble, you should cover first red grid, then the green grid to complete the level.

Boxed In Level 38 cheats and hints

This level has a nice little twist to it.  Just push the boxes to positions in the screenshot below.  Cover the grids in this order: yellow, red, and blue.

Boxed in Level 39 cheats and hints

This is an easy level.  So manyboxes, but just one box is used to cover those colored grids. The boxes on the side of the wall just need to be adjusted to they will be out of your way.  Cover the colored grids in this order: green, red, and blue, and head for the exits.

Boxed in Level 40 cheats and hints

This is another long level.  First push the boxes horizontal to the blue and yellow grid to the right.  Then push the center box up.  Go right and push a box to the right 2 grids, then push it left to cover the blue grid.  Next go toward the red forcefield and push the box there in.  Cover the red grid with one of the boxes, and head downward.  Push the boxes there into formation as shown in the second screenshot below.  Then cover the yellow grid with a box.  Finally, from the top, push a box downward to get the gear.  Push another box to the right and then push it downardward, then upward to have it cover the green grid and complete the level.

Boxed In Level 21

If you are stuck on this level, just push boxes so that they match this Level 21 screenshot. Just make sure don’t push the second box to the top right too early.  You should easily beat this level if boxes are pushed accordingly.

Boxed In Level 22

Another easy level, just push the boxes to the right side as displayed on the screenshot.  Then push the boxes on the lower left of the screen into formation.  That will clear a path for you to push the box to the green grid that unlocks the forcefield blocking the exit.

Boxed In Level 23

After pushing a box to the yellow grid.  Aim for the gear at the top right.  Align the boxes to position as in the first screen shot.  Before you can push the box to the green grid.  Be sure to move the boxes to the right back up as in the second screen shot.  Finally push one box to the blue grid and the box you pushed to the green grid can be removed and pushed to the red grid to clear the path to the exit.

Boxed In Level 24

Go for the green grid first.  Be care on the order the boxes are pushed.  Afterward, the yellow grid can be filled after moving one of the boxes near the bottom out of the way toward the top left of the screenshot.

Boxed In Level 25

Just push the boxes into places according to the screenshot below and you should complete this level with ease.  The only difficult part is at the beggining where you need to push the box next to the red barrier first.  Then you can fill the red and blue grids with ease.

Boxed In Level 26

There are 3 boxes and 4 grids for you to unlock.  So you need to use all 3 boxes.  Cover the yellow grid, then the blue grid.  Finally cover the red grid to get the gear.  Push the box on the yellow grid out and use it to cover the green grid for the win!

Boxed In Level 27

Once the yellow grid is filled.  This level seems a lot easier.  Follow the box placements in the screenshot below for a quick win.

Boxed In Level 28

Push the boxes into formation as shown on the bottom right of the screenshot.  Then, fill the blue grid, red grid, and finally the yellow grid respectively using the remaining 3 boxes.

Boxed In Level 29

This level is a little tricky.  Fill the red grid first.  Dont forget to push the top right box down once so it will not block your way to the red grid.  Then push the box 2 grids left of the blue grid toward left.  Pick up the gear and push the box on top up once, then push the original box back to the blue grid.  Next go toward the yellow grid and push the box there 2 grids to the left.  Then go back and push the box on the blue grid toward the green grid until it is covered.  Get another box to cover the blue grid.  And finally, cover the yellow grid to get the gear and complete the level.

Boxed In Level 30

Go toward bottom right and push the upper box toward the left.  Get the gear and cover the yellow grid with another box.  Push a box up to cover the red grid.  Then cover the blue grid.  Get the gears and push the box on top of the yellow grid downward.  After a little manipulative box pushing, push that box toward the green grid to complete this level.

Buying a new iPhone?  Do you want insurance?  That will cost ya $96.00 to $360 for 2 years, and it doesn’t even cover lost or stolen phones. 

The problem with iPhone insurances is that unlike other cell phones, AT&T doesn’t offer a full insurance coverage that covers accidental damage, theft, or lost phones.  That came as a surprise for many first time iPhone buyers with a history of dropping cell phones on concrete floors and lost phones looking to purchase insurance. 

Apple and AT&T only offers an “AppleCare Protection Plan” available as an extended warranty.  But it just extends technical support and hardware repairs to two years for $69.  It covers battery if its capacity has diminished by over 50%.  But here’s the kicker;  they don’t cover accidental damage, theft, or loss. 

Best Buy Stores as well as other warranty protection services such as SquareTrade will be offering insurances, sorry, warranties, when the new iPhone 3GS go on sale  June 11, 2009. 

Best Buy is charging $180 per year, or $15 per month to protect iphones from  drops, spill, and any other device failures.  That is done through Geek Squad’s Black Tie Protection service.  Previous iPhone warranties from Best Buy doesn’t seem to include water damage. 

Square Trade is charging $96 for 8 gb model and $115 for the 16gb model for 2 years of coverage.  That seems to be a better deal.  There are other warranty companies out there.  Just do a search on Google. 

Both iphone “insurance” plans that covers accidental damage mentioned above will set potential buyers back a boatload of money.  Buyers would think they are covered for everything, right?     Be warned, if you lose you iPhone at a basketball game, or if someone stole it from you, you are not covered.  These warranties do not cover lost or stolen iPhones.  To protect against theft, you probably have to have some sort of a homeowner’s insurance that pays for stuff stolen from the home. 

Even though not everything is covered.  If you have the slippery fingers or like to drop cell phones into water.  You should probably choose an affordable accidental protection plan.  Best Buy’s plan may be a little too expensive.  Come on, with a total of $360 spent over 2 years.  People might as well as buy a new phone.  However, plans under $100 may not be a bad deal for those with a history of dropped cell phone.  Try to look on the net for a good and affordable accidental protection plan.  Be sure to check the company’s credibility and ability to deliver you a fixed or at least a refurbished iPhone when that iPhone gets smashed. 

For those of you who rarely had any dropped cell phones or phones flushing down the toilets, you probably don’t need an accidental damage protection plan.  Just keep your iPhones in your pocket or purse.  And be very careful when you take them out.  Oh, and make sure your fingers are not slippery when you reach for it. 

“Oh, is that an iPhone?  Can I take a look at it?”  says your female acquaintance.  She takes the iPhone from you and says in her head “yuck, why is the screen all oily?  Disgusting!”

Hopefully this situation won’t happen if you have the new iPhone 3GS.  Apple has apparently updated their touch screen with oleophobic coating as announced on their website’s “How to:  Cleaning iPhone” page.  Oleophobic means a lack of strong affinity for oils.  Instead of using a wet cloth to clean your iPhone screen, the new 3GS model only needs a dry, soft lint-free cloth.

This means the linen shipped along with the iPhone will do fine without water.  If you are desperate for a quick oil removal to avoid an oily embarrassment like above, your shirt will probably do fine to remove the oily stench and smudges.  Nothing better to remove greasy stains than your own shirt, right?  OK, you shouldn’t always use your shirt to clean the grease on the iPhone.  But if you are truly concerned about oily screens, keep the lint-free cloth with you at all times.  Don’t have a lint-free cloth?  Here’s a link to get one.

For those that don’t have the newest iPhone 3GS, sorry, you are out of luck.  For those with the old iPhone 2G and iPhone 3G, a little bit of water is still necessary.  If you are on a date in a restaurant.  Just use a little bit of water available to you there to remove the grease on the iPhone.

Still have that virtual Beer app on your iPhone? Now virtual beer pouring can be translated to real life application. The folks at Instructables demonstrated and published a step-by-step tutorial to pouring beer into a mug using an apparatus controlled by the iPhone.  The demonstration wasn’t a complete success though.  There are lots of bubbles from the poured beer which makes it difficult to drink.  But it is possible that with more detailed programming to control the accelerometer and adjusting positions of the apparatus, a perfect beer can be served by the iPhone. Google Apps has a secret. There is an option to change the App’s theme color, sounds and other options hidden in the Settings page. The secret option is dubbed “Bells and Whistles” and it can only be revealed if you scroll near the bottom and keep swiping the touch screen upwards with your finger until the “Bells and Whistles” option appears. Google was probably expecting some finger swiping maniac to discover this secret. But those swipy fingers may have fallen asleep at the App’s setting’s page, such that Google has to blog about it instead.

The new options allow the following:

Change Theme Color-  Google App users can now change the theme to any color they wish.  Just touch the desired colors on the color scheme.

Sounds-  The Sounds option allows the option to choose the sounds during Voice search.  Now you can play chicken or monkey around during voice search!

Live Waveform-  Want to see sound waves as you do voice search?  Turn it on.

Open Links in App-  Turn this on if you don’t like to go to native safari when you click on an search result.

Apple, like any well intentioned public company, tries to make its products profanity-free by auto correcting profanities to something as harmless as a duck. However, there are some situations where people need to exercise their freedom of speech. To solve this problem, users with the 2.2 update can turn off auto-correction by tapping Settings -> General -> Keyboard -> Auto-Correction Off.

But turning it off can cause a lot of inconveniences, making you look like a non-English proficient baffoon if you don’t pay enough attention to what you’re typing. To have auto-correction turned on and still type your favorite bad words on the iPhone, simply add the words to your contact list as a last name or first name. Remember to save.
