Animoto- Unleash your creativity

clip_image002[6]

Animoto is a free video application that has given iPhone users flexibility and freedom to create and watch music videos on the fly. Videos can be created using the photos stored on your iphone with awesome visual effects. Even the app creators touted that their team included former producers at MTV, Comedy Central & ABC.

These videos can be viewed offline (i.e. on iPhone) or be shared on the website Animoto.com using user accounts (that is also free). It also allows for users to synchronize their videos for better playback. This also works in reverse. The users can create videos on the PC and sync it with their iPhone. Here is a Mojo killer; if you pay for the service you are no longer restricted to 30 seconds.

Since Animoto’s launching December 2008, it has been the most downloaded iPhone Application; 300,000 times! If that number is boggling you, 500,000 videos have been made with Animoto! If that fact is bounced off you, know that no two videos created using Animoto are ever the same even if they have used the same photos or music.

Animoto is based on the Cinematic Artificial Intelligence® technology engine, which thinks like an actual director and editor. It uses the same sophisticated post production tools that are available to the professionals in the film editing domain. The software is very precise, as it takes in to account every line, beat, genre and pitch of the song and the photos are synced accordingly. The effects applied have to go hand in hand with the song.

Animoto 2.0 has launched and iPhone users will want to get their hands on to this application. This upgrade allows the iPhone users to bypass connection to Animoto.com to gain direct access, hence bridging the schism between mobile and online worlds. Express yourself to the world! Share your story with them! Welcome to the touch generation!

If you still cant figure out what Animoto can do, below is a video demo.
