PianoStudio is a brand new application launched by the Frontier Design Group for the iPhone and the iPod Touch. With the release of touch sensitive phone the application market has seen a plethora of applications for music buffs. Drum kits, Pianos, guitars to name a few. Piano Applications are not new for the iPhone or iPod Touch, but what makes PianoStudio a breed apart is its intelligent design and clever approach to music.

PianoStudio destroys the conventional one key for a note approach. It enables the user to place entire chords, musical phrases or individual notes onto a set of buttons. These buttons can then be ordered and played. This helps the user to perform real music as if using real piano. He/She can use chord progressions and even two-handed patterns.

PianoStudio is not for the fainthearted trying to make a note here and there. It is for the complete musical buff. Featuring an incredible set of tools for song creation, a phrase editor and even a built in chord selector, PianoStudio is ideal for exploring musical ideas.
