Final Fantasy Coming to the iPhone and iPod Touch
It looks like classic games including the original Final Fantasy are in fashion. SquareEnix has just announced Final Fantasy 1 and 2 for the iDevices on their Facebook page.

Final Fantasy started over 20 years ago in 1987. After Dragon Quest, it was the biggest role playing game (RPG) in Japan at the time. Final Fantasy series continued to redefine the role playing games genre with new releases and to date selling over 85 million copies world wide.
SquareEnix did not reveal a release date though. But for those of you eager to get into some Final Fantasy action, you can try the excellent Crystal Defenders (App Store) Final Fantasy tower defense game. There is also the interesting Vanguard Storm (App Store) that features strategic battlefield gameplay with Final Fantasy characters.
