Hulu Coming to the iPhone

hulu-flash-iphone

Wonderful. My phone isn´t dropping enough calls thanks to AT&T´s overburdened 3G network.

Rumors once, news now..This just in..A stand alone HULU app for the iPhone in March. Why would Apple and AT&T allow this video player to suck bandwidth while taking away from iTunes sales? Money. Pure and simple greed. Apple undoubtedly expects this application to increase sales of both the iPhone Touch and the iPhone. AT&T has shown, recently, a complete disregard for customer service in lieu of additional contracts with users of the Iphone.

Rather than improved coverage throughout The States, we shall have Hulu.

Hulu, for those unfamiliar is a video streaming site, commercially run, by a conglomeration of media conglomerations.

Missed last night´s 30 Rock. Hulu. Unlike sites like surfthechannel.com it´s legal. Though you will be forced to suffer through commercials.

I for one, greet this with mixed, mixed feelings. Sure I can catch up on my TV viewing but at what cost. The inability to hear from my babysitter. We have reported here, earlier this month, the problems that AT&T is having with their networks owing to an exclusive arrangement with Apple for iPhone service. This won’t help.

The iPhones video capabilities are staggering. They run flawlessly while delivering YouTube as well as video podcasts, but this newest entry into the realm of programming at best looks like a wolf in sheeps clothing.
