Another proof that profit can be made from developing iPhone/iPod apps is the F.A.S.T. dogfight game. This game from Social Gaming Network (SNG) was introduced into the market in June. Fleet Air Superiority Training (F.A.S.T)  allows users to try and shoot down other human players.

New versions will allow paid upgrades for weapons and jets. What a great way to monetize on existing users. The word on the Apps Street is that this iPhone game pulls in as much as $60,000 per day. Recently, it has joined the list of top 25 paid apps.

SNG believes that its gaming market share is bound to increase due to the popularity of this game. Social Gaming Network is also trying to expand the business by trying to license the basic platform engine of F.A.S.T to other developers.  Using this, other game developers can save money by eliminating the need to build a game engine, and create more profitable and interactive games. The Fleet Air Superiority Training F.A.S.T. dogfight game is an example of amazing profit making scheme. With F.A.S.T. as an inspiration, quality iPhone games with big budgets will surely follow.
